Lifting railThe pads should closely touch the track and the load-bearing beam of the lifting equipment. No more than 20 pads are allowed per level, with a length exceeding 100mm. The total width should be 10-20mm wider than the bottom of the track. The spacing between groups of pads should not exceed 200mm. The pads should be firmly welded to the steel lifting equipment's load-bearing beam, and the specific contact area with the track's cross-section should not be less than 60% of the contact area. Any gaps should not exceed 1mm.
Safety inspections should be conducted on the lifting rail, steel rails, anchor bolts, and straight clamps. If there are cracks, corrosion, or non-compliance, they should be immediately removed and replaced. The surface and side of the steel rail that can be repaired should not exceed 3mm in damage. After repairs, they should be reused.
Steel rail joints can be made as direct joints or 45-degree angled joints. Angled joints allow wheels to move orderly at the interface, with a typical joint gap of 1-2mm. In cold regions during winter construction or installation, when the temperature is below the long-term usage surface temperature and the distance is around 20mm, attention should be paid to the temperature difference with the environment, generally 4-6mm. At the interface, the distance between two steel rails should be about 500mm.
The ends of the lifting rail are equipped with stop partitions, and the geometric axis error between the specific axis and the track should not exceed 3mm. The allowable error for the guardrail of the gantry lifting rail is 5mm; the vertical slope is 1/1500; the allowable error for the relative elevation of the two tracks is 10mm.
Electric gantry cranes are equipped with corresponding tracks, and the lifting rails are generally made of steel. Their length is limited and needs to be connected in two groups. Their function is to facilitate the movement of the entire equipment or vehicle, and the connected area is called the lifting rail joint.
There are many types of components at the connection points of the gantry crane tracks, such as anchor bolts, nuts, spring washers, straight clamps, pins, etc. All of these are very important. Steel rail joints also need to be welded. If the tracks used for assembling lifting equipment are not welded, there may be dangers during use. Naturally, bolt fastening is also very important.
Generally speaking, corresponding solutions should be made for the lifting rail connections, which means that the lifting equipment or lifting trolley experiences friction resistance or bumps when passing through the track, completing stable movement connections. This is the technical standard for assembling the gantry crane lifting rail that we will discuss next:
1. Naturally, it must meet national standards, which are to satisfy the requirements of relevant industry standards;
2. It is necessary to consider the effects of thermal expansion and contraction of the steel rail. Therefore, the welding must have a gap, and the specification should be reduced to 15-18mm, not less than 12mm.
3. This is the welding sequence. First, the top of the steel rail must be welded, then the waist of the steel rail should be welded, and finally the rail head. Therefore, the welding technology revolves around the repair plan, gradually solving problems through spray welding.
4. After welding, the heat treatment process is also very important; it only needs to ensure that the interface with the overall track is smooth and neat.
